The IC-F2100D is a UHF two way radio from Icom. This radio is ideal for a variety of working environments due to both its robustness and simplicity, with a black box design there is little training required when using this device

Built to IP67 protection rating the IC-F2100D has a full Ingres protection against dust whilst also being fully submergible in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. Alongside its Ingres protection rating the IC-F2100D is also built to MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F/G meaning that it is ensured against environmental conditions such as fog and snowfall whilst also being covered for shock and vibration. This military rating also ensures that the radio will continuously operate even in temperatures as low as -30°C through to 50°C.

A slender radio the IC-F2100D stands at 118.8mm in height, 52.2mm in width and 29.4mm in depth whilst weighing in at just 260. Fitting comfortably in the palm of the user’s hand, the IC-F2100D can also be carried by the use of a belt clip or hand strap and due to its lightweight will not be a hindrance to the operator as they’re working.

Many features are present on the IC-F2100D that can be of use in a variety of working environments. A three colour LED allows for status updates even without the screen of other radios in the IC-F2100D range of radios. This radio is also capable of performing both individual and group calls, this means that should you require a private conversation because of sensitive information then this is entirely possible with the IC-F2100D.

Ideal Analogue NXDN Digital Migration

The Icom IC-F2100D is an ideal migration two way radio. Since the IC-F2100D works in both analogue and digital modes, the IC-F2100D allows the gradual migration from analogue to NXDN digital.

High Power Super Loud Speaker & Noise Cancelling

The Icom IC-F2100D improves on it's predecessor's speaker. The IC-F2100D had just a 800mW speaker. The IC-F2100D boasts a massive 1500mW speaker. That means the Icom IC-F2100D is by far the loudest radio in it's class.

Icom IC-F2100D has amazing noise-cancelling technology that can detect and reduce background noise. This is ideal for building sites and other places where there is a large amount of background noise.

Waterproof & Military Standard Compliant

The Icom IC-F2100D is built to military standard and is MIL-STD-810-G compliant. IC-F2100D is waterproof and dust resistant and compliant to IP67.

Noise cancelling technology mixed with it's extremely loud speaker and IP67 waterproofing means that the Icom IC-F2100D the ideal radio for outdoor and indoor use.

Slim, Compact & Lightweight

The IC-F1000D has a compact 52.2 x 111.8 x 30.3mm body and weighs just 260g with the heavy duty BP-280 battery pack and belt clip (both supplied and included). The included BP-280 battery allows up to 12 hours of use (5% transmit, 5% receive, 90% standby duty cycle) That means it's extra lightweight. The IC-F2100D can be made even lighter by taking a smaller batter, for example the BP-279. However, this does impact the battery life to as little as 5 hours.

Built-in 2-Tone and 5-Tone (Analogue mode)

The IC-F2100D can also be used in Analogue mode. It has built-in 2-Tone, 5-Tone, CTCSS and DTCS signalling capability for analogue mode group communication and selective calling. The IC-F2100D can be used as an analogue transceiver ready for future digital migration.
