Icom BP-299 Battery
Icom BP-299 is a lithium battery that’s primarily designed for the new and updated version of the Icom IC-F3002 and Icom IC-F4002 two way radios.
With a typical capacity of 3150mAh, the Icom BP-299 can power the IC-F3002 or IC-F4002 delivering up to 31 hours of use to last an entire shift; assuming 5-5-90 duty cycle of 5% transmit, 5% receive and 90% standby, meaning you won't have the worry of radio silence.
BP-299 battery is designed to be charged upto 300 times, known as charge cycles, before any noticeable degradation, meaning maximum battery longevity.
As well as IP54 ingress rating, matching the durability and ingress rating of the IC-F3002/IC-F4002 two way radios, the BP-299 doesn't significantly increase the weight of the radio when compared to the lower capacity Icom BP-265.
