Motorola DP3400 is a digital portable two way radio, operating in both analogue and digital. The antenna, battery, carry solution and single charger are optional when ordering.

DP3400 is available in VHF or UHF and can support frequencies between VHF 136-174MHz for VHF, 403-470MHz for UHF and 470-512MHz for UHF(High).

DP3400 can be used with a belt clip or carry case to attach DP3400 to a belt easily (see our dedicated Motorola  DP3400 category). These options for carrying make it simple to quickly access the radio during emergencies while also being convenient to carry.

Features

DP3400 is equipped with a large, textured PTT button for ease of use, even with gloved hands. Motorola DP3400 has three programmable buttons, so programmable features can be accessed quickly and ensure operator efficiency. The tri-coloured LED on the top of the DP3400 visually indicates the radio operating status at a glance. 

DP3400 two way radio has a bright orange emergency button on the top. If pressed, this transmits an emergency signalling alert to all other radios within the range that a user may have a security or safety breach. 

Motorola DP3400 safe working features protect users during remote or lone working. The lone worker feature can be activated for solo workers, so if no activity is detected within the predetermined time, then the emergency signal will be initiated.

DP3400 Emergency calls function helps to ensure employees are safe. 

DP3400 communications can be facilitated with the option for both individual and group calling. When operators need to have a private conversation, individual calling is available. Additionally, group calling is helpful for supervisors who want to update the team.

DP3400 has 32 channels and is equipped with a channel scanning feature that allows one radio channel to be set as a program scanning channel, which cycles through programmed channels to prevent missed transmissions. Useful for monitoring multiple channels.

Motorola DP3400 has the capability for programmable channel spacing (12.5 or 20/25 KHz) for simple and flexible migration of channel spacing requirements in any situation. 

DP3400 has VOX capability, so hands-free radio communication can be achieved if this feature is enabled. VOX automatically initiates the PTT and microphone when speaking, which is helpful in situations where manual operation is unsafe or impractical, such as hazardous environments or hands-on work.

Motorola DP3400 two way radios have an accessory connector and incorporate RF, USB and enhanced audio capability. DP3400 radio housing is also IP57-rated which is submersible in up to 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes.

DP3400 meets Military Standard 810, which includes tests for pressure, temperature, vibration, and impact, demonstrating the durable nature of the Motorola DP3400 and its ability to operate in harsh environmental conditions, ranging from climates as low as -30°C to high temperatures of up to 60°C.
