The IC-F29DR is a license free digital radio from Icom. There are 16 channels available on the F29DR that can be programmed to 446MHz frequencies, this radio utilizes a 6.25kHz narrow channel spacing, meaning that even in urban areas these digital channels suffer less interference. Due to the IC-F29DR being a digital radio this will provide the user with superior audio quality in comparison to analogue models, ensuring that transmissions are clearly heard is a benefit to both efficiency and safety in the workplace.

Not commonly found on license free radios the IC-F29DR has an IP67 Ingres protection rating. This rating not only ensures that the radio has a full Ingress against dust intrusion, but it also means that the IC-F29DR is safeguarded against submersion in water for short periods of time. 12 types of Ring-tone

The Call-Ring function allows you to call your group members with 12 types of ring tone. When you prearrange any ring tone for an emergency, the ring tone can be used for an emergency alert.

The IC-F29DR can last up to a massive 26 hours from one single charge.

Power ON scan

The IC-F29DR can be programmed to scan as soon as it's switched on. This can be useful when the IC-F29DR is required to be in scan mode permanently.

Tone scan (analogue)

The IC-F29DR can be programmed to scan CTCSS tones, this enables the IC-F29DR to communicate with almost any other PMR446 radio.

Nuisance delete (Scan)

When in scan mode, if a channel becomes a nuisance, the user can delete this channel from the scan.

Multi-Colour LED Status Light

The status LED light on the top of the IC-F29DR changes colour to indicate current status.
