Acceptance of Order

The contract in respect of the products supplied by us to you comes into existence when your order has been accepted by us. For the avoidance of doubt, checkout via our website is considered an invitation from you do business and does not constitute Marine Radios UK accepting an order.

Licensing

A large proportion of the two way radios offered for sale by Marine Radios UK require a licence issued by the radio communications licensing agency for the country where they're to be delivered. If you are unable to provide Marine Radios UK with a radio communications licence, the law prevents Marine Radios UK from being able to supply licensed radios.

In some countries, we are able to assist you in obtaining a licence. If you cannot provide a radio communications licence, if we can assist you in obtaining a licence, we will offer to do so. If we cannot help you obtain one, any order already placed will be cancelled inline with our cancellation policy.

Licence Exempt Two Way Radio Programming

Whilst Marine Radios UK offers free basic programming on radios that require programming to work correctly, that's most radios that require a licence, Marine Radios UK does not offer free programming on radios that are already pre-programmed, such as licence free radios. If a licence free radio needs to be programmed to match another make or model radio, we will charge one hour programming charge.

Inline with agreements with Manufacturers, Marine Radios UK exercises it's corporate responsibility to only make available products and solutions for the purpose for which they are intended. For example, Marine Radios UK is prohibited from selling two way radios designed for leisure for commercial use; or non-water-resistant radios to businesses with humid environments. Similarly, Marine Radios UK is prohibited from selling professional-grade radios for non-business use. Marine Radios UK reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order on this basis.

Digital goods include downloadable products, virtual products, licences, enablement IDs (feature licence keys) and remote engineering. These do not need to be delivered, are sold inline with the UK's online services legislation. There is absolutely no refunds on digital products.

Digital Goods - Future Updates

When an order is placed for programming software or firmware you can only have a snapshot in time - you get the version on that day only - and no future updates will be offered. When the option for "any future updates" or "all future updates" is selected, this is restricted to 12-months from the date of purchase only.

FREE Support Unavailable
