Icom IC-F27SR

The IC-F27SR is a PMR446 license free two way radio from Icom. A compact radio, the IC-F27SR is small in size allowing for it to be carried discreetly if necessary in your working environment, weighing just 300g making it convenient for extended periods of carrying from the operative. Supplied with a 2000mAh BP-23N Li-Ion battery pack, this can provide up to 26.5 hours of use meaning that the radio is more than sufficient for extended working hours.

Built to military standards (MIL-STD-810) the IC-F27SR will continue to operate in a variety of differing weather and environmental conditions, working seamlessly from temperatures as low as -30°C through to 50°C. A 16 position rotary channel selector is present atop of the radio, this allowing for an easy transition between channels, with channel 16 being preset as the scan channel. The IC-F27SR has a LED light indicator on front of the radio, this showing operating condition switching between green, red and orange colours. In order to ensure the radio you are trying to communicate with is within distance the IC-F27SR has a smart ringer, with this the answer back function will ping to the other radio and check whether it is possible to send and receive a message.
