Icom HM-222 Microphone
Icom HM-222 is a waterproof remote speaker microphone with an emergency button for use with the IC-F52D, IC-F62D, and IC-M85E. Also features a 3.5mm earpiece connector for totally private communications with the earpiece connected.
Emergency Button
Icom HM-222 has an orange emergency button at the very top of the microphone. Using programming software, the radio can be programmed to respond to this emergency button being pressed. Note, the button will do nothing if the radio itself is not programmed to respond to the orange button.
Earpiece Jack
There is a 3.5mm earpiece jack enabling the user to attach a (sold separately) earpiece for completely private communications.
