The IC-F5022 is a VHF mobile radio from Icom. An ideal radio for small to medium sized systems, the IC-5022 has a 128 channel capacity that can be split into 8 different memory zones. Icom’s IC-F5022 has 6 programmable buttons on the front of the radio, allowing for customisation to the operatives needs for differing working environments, alongside having an 8 character alphanumeric display to show current channel number.

Built to MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F/G ensures the IC-F5022’s reliability, tested in a variety of different working conditions the radio will continue to work seamlessly from -30°C to 60°C. Lone worker is a safety feature that is pre-programmed to the IC-F5022, monitoring activity levels should the radio not be operated for a pre-set period of time then a sound will be transmitted from the radio, if no response is made an alert will be sent to the other members of the connected network making them aware a team member may be in danger.

The IC-F5022 has the radio kill/stun features, this allows for the radio to be disabled over the air should it be lost or stolen minimizing the security threat from undesired listeners. When a stun command is received all functions will be temporarily locked, this until the revive command is received or the unlock password is entered into the radio. The IC-F5022 has added CTCSS/DTCS high speed decode, these alongside 2-tone and 5-tone can be used in order to set up your own talk groups, PTT ID and quiet stand-by whilst others are talking.
